6) ACCOUNTING CONCEPTS:
The four important concepts are, on-going concern concept, accruals concept, consistency concept and prudence concept

7) ACCOUNTING YEAR:
It is also called as financial year. According to companies act, 1988, the accounting year of all public limited companies will be from 1st April – 31st March

8) ACCOUNTS PAYABLE:
A term appearing on the liabilities side of a balance sheets; it means the amount the company is liable to pay to its regular business creditors from whom it has bought goods or services on credit

9) ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE:
A term appearing on the assets side of a balance sheet. The debts and debtors to the company are shown under Accounts receivable column. Since some of the company’s debtors fail to pay because of the financial difficulties, a realistic estimate of accounts receivable deducts an amount representing debts considered doubtful. It measures a company’s liquidity, It also measures the soundness of sales management when the total sales credit of a company for the accounting period is divided by accounts receivable and the sum arrived shows that accounts receivable have been collected a satisfactory number of times.

10) ACCOUNT STATEMENT:
When an account with the broker is active, he periodically issues a statement to his client, featuring all transactions, including long and short positions
